Escape the winter blues and join us for a fun month of strumming one of the most popular musical instruments of the 1920s! Our blockbuster music classes are back with instructor David Firman, Ukulele teacher and Founding Member of the KC Ukesters. This year, we will offer TWO 4-week class series, a Tuesday group and a Thursday group! Students will register for the group of their choice and meet weekly to learn the basics, starting with an introduction to the fundamentals and progressing to advanced chords and strums. No prior experience needed, and ukulueles are provided!

This class is appropriate for ages 14 and up. Please click here to sign up! Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 16 to February 8 at 7:00 pm and run for approximately 60 minutes. Classes are $40.00/4 classes. You will register for ONE class group, please make sure you register for the right class. February 13 and 15 will be makeup dates in case of inclement weather.

Tuesday Class Dates: 1/16, 1/23, 1/30 and 2/6
Thursday Class Dates: 1/18, 1/25, 2/1 and 2/8


LOCATION: Class will be in our new Workshop Space across from our Town Hall! Park at 11600 Johnson Drive and enter the right gate to walk straight to the Workshop – there will be sandwich boards and lights to direct you. There is a very short walk on the paved sidewalk to reach the Workshop. For those with mobility concerns, call the museum for accommodations.
