What was staying home like 100 years ago? Tour the farmhouse, grind corn for cornbread, wash clothes (and your hands!), and hear all about our 1927 Nash and 1929 Ford Model AA truck. Pick up your “carry-out” activity bag. Our ever-popular leatherworking station will be set up today! As an added bonus, Mrs. Clara Ford will be on site with her 1929 Tudor Model A from 10am-12pm.
Admission is $5 adults, $4 seniors, $3 children (5-17), free under 5. For more information, please call (913) 248-2360.
Shawnee Town 1929 and COVID-19
We want your Shawnee Town experience to be both enjoyable and safe. Staff and volunteers will be wearing masks and practicing social distancing. For your use, masks will be available at the Visitor's Center. Activities are geared toward a minimum of physical contact. We have activity bags with games and crafts that you can do on your own. Hand sanitizer will be available at each program station.
