Description

Learn about how to identify historic photos, such as daguerreotypes, tintypes, and cabinet cards--and how to "read" what the photo subject wants us to learn 100+ years later. This class will be taught by Tim Talbott (Mahaffie Stage Coach Stop and Farm) and Charlie Pautler (Shawnee Town 1929), many examples will be shared. Bring a compelling photograph from your grandma's attic and we can share and discuss.
Space is limited for this class, and proper social distancing standards will be enforced, including the use of masks. Reservations are required, please call (913) 248-2360 to get registered, the class fee is just $5.
This class will be held in our Town Hall facility located at 11600 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.
