Join us in our historic Hart-DeCaeny Farmhouse kitchen for a traditional Shawnee treat, doughnuts!  Using our 1920’s-style wood-burning cook stove, the instructors will prepare hot and fresh doughnuts using a historic Belgian recipe, once a very familiar staple on cold winter days in Shawnee. Learn some fascinating doughnut history while you watch and learn about techniques and tips that you can use in your modern kitchen. Partnering with a local doughnut-making expert – we’re keeping it a surprise just for now!
